I have always wanted to put together a post on the creation of my wedding invitations. To this day, I think this is my favorite project I've had the joy of working on. It was somewhere between the prayer over the words it should display, the pencil shavings, the pixel pushing and the assembly parties that I found there was more of myself in this little project than I ever expected. I'm not sure why I ever anticipated otherwise, though, considering it heralded the single most wonderful event of my life.

I really can't explain the amount of awe I have for the smiley cheeks in these photos. I loved spending this gift of a warm spring day with this crew!

Here is the aftermath of my post-Christmas photo adventures in the heart of Columbus with my brother-in-law and his beautiful soon-to-be wife!
Kebe :: Family Photo, Columbus, Ohio
It was spring 2006 that Natalie, the oldest girl in the Kebe family, walked up to me after a prayer meeting and asked me to live in an all-girls house hold my first year of college. Ten years, full friendships and lots of hands-raised prayer meetings later, I had the privilege of photographing their beautifully growing family. Goodness makes for more goodness!
(I love the photo above. It proves two things: cousins are best in large doses and grandparents make the world go round.)
Enjoy,
Rachel

If you're ever wondering what I'm doing during the day, you can stop. First, that's creepy unless I know you. Second, it's a safe bet that I'm trying to hang out with one of my siblings so I can learn how motherhood works. I try to hang out with them as often as I possibly can because they've proven themselves to be masters. How do I know this? Is it excellent grades, cute clothes, large vocabularies and impressive programs? Nope, even though I see a lot of that.
The reason why I know deep down in me that my brothers and sisters and their spouses are good parents is because I genuinely love spending time with their children. They're easy to be around. My nieces and nephews are good, and I'm often learning from them when I hang out with them.
Not all are pictured here, but here's a handful of them.
