Kebe :: Family Photo, Columbus, Ohio

KebeSmall56.JPG

It was spring 2006 that Natalie, the oldest girl in the Kebe family, walked up to me after a prayer meeting and asked me to live in an all-girls house hold my first year of college. Ten years, full friendships and lots of hands-raised prayer meetings later, I had the privilege of photographing their beautifully growing family. Goodness makes for more goodness!

(I love the photo above. It proves two things: cousins are best in large doses and grandparents make the world go round.)

Enjoy,

Rachel

Homeschool Portraits - Columbus, Ohio

If you're ever wondering what I'm doing during the day, you can stop. First, that's creepy unless I know you. Second, it's a safe bet that I'm trying to hang out with one of my siblings so I can learn how motherhood works. I try to hang out with them as often as I possibly can because they've proven themselves to be masters. How do I know this? Is it excellent grades, cute clothes, large vocabularies and impressive programs? Nope, even though I see a lot of that.

The reason why I know deep down in me that my brothers and sisters and their spouses are good parents is because I genuinely love spending time with their children. They're easy to be around. My nieces and nephews are good, and I'm often learning from them when I hang out with them.

Not all are pictured here, but here's a handful of them.

Will :: Senior Photo, Columbus, Ohio

My family has known Will's family for as long as I can remember. It was 15 years ago that our moms and a handful of others were sipping coffee in a suburban living room, kids playing on every free space of floor in the house, having just prayed together. Community is a beautiful thing.

Congratulations to Will as he finishes up high school!
