Refocusing

Tonight we took a winter walk. The coldness was a good shake-up from focusing too much on tiny details for an event where the most important thing that will happen all day takes the least  planning.

We came back chilly, refreshed and ready to prepare for the yes's that will make the grace and joy flow freely.

Rebekah and Adam wedding countdown: 5 days.

Toasting

Today we created a small think tank in order to write our tag-teamed Maid of Honor toast. This is Anna, in action, creating some brilliant punch line, I'm sure.

NOTE: While I was taking this photo, these women at the table next to us stopped mid conversation to stare at me in my photo-taking stance, which looks slightly like a disjointed half-lunge. They all but said, "I can't believe the world has turned into one giant photo shoot." And I almost said, "I am so, so happy that it has."

Old Bag

Tonight we went to Old Bag of Nails pub in Worthington with two dearest of dear friends. The snow fell lightly in big, fluffy flakes. We talked about the high hopes for a 3 snow day week. We had good talks, which left me grateful for friends who plant a seed of desire in you to become better, to go higher, to go deeper.
