I have never had such an enjoyable time chasing a rascally little almost-two-year-old around as I did trying to capture photos of this bunch. Fun notes about this family: (1) I photographed the wedding of the couple on the far right almost three years ago (2) I just met the mom on the far left at a mom's group and found out that her sense of humor is golden (3) the two babies in this family are highly cute.
My daughter Edith's favorite book right now starts with a very clean and clear picture of peas in a pod. It reads, "One, two, three, four, five, six peas!" She loves it. It gets her giggling every time. I'm not sure whether it's those little toes or the thought of the new mom and dad holding their little one, this family reminded me of that page - peas in a pod, all wrapped up in quite and peaceful joy. Welcome to the world, Finnian!
I sort-of felt like I met a celebrity after taking photos of Clara, who I will affectionately call the queen of cute.

I am fortunate enough to call my sisters my friends, but I'm even more fortunate to call my cousins my friends. This beautiful bunch is my mom's sister's family, and I am grateful to say we've hung out all our lives and now our babies get to hang out, too! I had a blast visiting my Mom's home town to visit and photograph them all.
